              Paul is currently the director and treasurer of Australian Mining Association which successfully held their first Asia Pacific Resources Conference (APRC2014) in Brisbane following the G20 summit.

Paul has been in Australia for over 26 years. He is a very successful entrepreneurial businessman; his over 20 years business experiences in Australia are spread over finance, property development, publishing, imports and exports, stock and commodity trading, wastewater/soil treatments and oil refineries, capital raising, M&A, Mining etc.

He is chartered member of Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI) since 1991; and member of Financial Planning Association (FPA) and Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA); and Australian Security & Investment Commission registered Financial Planner, and Australian Credit Licensee holder. Paul understands the different perspectives between Chinese culture and Australian culture and is more than capable to bridge such gap via effective relationship skills.

George Edwards

Vice Chairman.

        George is a metallurgy graduate from UNSW and has been prominent in the coal industry in Australia and overseas for over 40 years, including having part owned and operated three export coal mines, since establishing his own companies 28 years ago. Among his many achievements are leading the Australian Government Sponsored Coal Mission to South America in 1977, being a member of the first Australian Coal Mission to China in 1976, the Australian Steaming Coal Survey Mission to the USA in 1979 and the Australian Ministerial Coal Mission to India in 1996, and being President of The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (The AusIMM) in 1995 – they developed the JORC Code. He was International Chairman of the Coal Preparation Congress from 1973-76. He was awarded the Gold Medal for 2011 by the Mineral Industry Consultants Association. George is Executive Chairman of the Australian Mining Association.

He has been the Chief Executive in Australia for Consolidation Coal Company ofUSA. Throughout his coal career he has also worked for Coal & Allied Industries Limited, the Joint Coal Board and B.H.P. (then Australia’s major steel company and a major coal producer and exporter). He has been Chairman and Director of both public and private coal companies, in Australia and overseas. His experiences have covered most areas of the steel industry, some in the power industry, all areas of the coal industry from exploration to management and trading activities in coal, coke, iron ore and other minerals and bulk materials. Since establishing his own companies he has been responsible for export sales of up to 5 million tonnes of coal a year from his own and other mines in Australia, and some from other countries. He is mandated by several Chinese buyers to source coal and coal properties, and other inerals, including the China Mining Association, for whom he is the first appointed Overseas Senior Advisor.

George has been Chairman of Standards Australia, having chaired their Environment, Materials and Safety Standards Sector Board, covering all minerals. He was Chairman of SAI Global Limited (ASX listed) from listing in 2003 until 2008 and the Energy Council of Australia (from 1993 to 2006) and runs his own trading and consulting businesses, principally through Edwards Global Services Pty Ltd in Australia and PT. Edwards Global Services in Indonesia, serving the coal, minerals, energy (including carbon credits) and other industries worldwide. His over 100 major clients worldwide to date have included, amongst others, organisations as diverse as the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), Gregg River Resources Limited (Canada), CITIC [Securities] (China), The Carbon Trader (Australia), PT Bukit Baiduri Energi (Indonesia), Peabody Energy (USA), Whitlam Turnbull & Co Ltd (Australia), Tenaga Nasional Berhard (Malaysia), SG Australia (part of Societe Generale Banque, France), Trans Natal Coal (became Ingwe Coal) South Africa and the United Nations (Coal Development Program).He has authored some 150 talks, articles and presentations in Australia and in 14 countries overseas, mainly on mining and coal-related matters.

Delwar has over 24 years of local and global experience in stock broking, asset management and manufacturing. He first became stock broker in 1995 by acquiring TREC No. 22 (Trading Right Entitlement Certificate) of Chittagong Stock Exchange Limited for his company “Lamisa Securities Limited” and managed the business as Managing Director & CEO. In 2005 Mr. Delwar along with his partners acquired E-Securities Limited (holder of TREC No. 66 of Dhaka Stock Exchange Limited) and managed the business as Director and CEO for 9 years.

He was Sponsor Director of a leading manufacturer of Pharmaceutical Grade PVC Film for blister packaging company enlisted in Dhaka Stock Exchange and Chittagong Stock Exchange.

Delwar also has 6 years (2014-2019) professional experience in key business and support roles in Australia.

Delwar holds a Bachelor Degree of Commerce and MBA in Finance from IUB. He completed Diploma of Financial Planning from Monarch Institute in Australia and completed a certification course on Quality Management System of Medical Devices in Australia.

Professional Experience:
Tang’s areas of expertise are investigation and calculation method study of mineral resources and resource reserves. By studying the home and abroad original ways of mineral resource reserves calculation (including traditional ways and geostatistics ways), he innovatively inherited the research and application of China national geology exploration standard of “The General Norms on Geological Exploration of solid minerals (GB/T13908-2002) and SD Method for Reserve Calculation (referred to “SD Method” in the follows).This is the third calculation method for resource reserves used in Chinese Geological report.
Tang Changzhong has overall compiled China mineral rights evaluation norm about the resource reserves of the standard “The Guidance on Resource Reserve Evaluation and Application” (CMVS300300-2010). As to the mineral invesment, he designs mineral right transaction service process to fully use modern mineral technology to analyze and identify investments and financing risks, providing consulting service to improve ore investments return (including the estimation of mineral resource and report compiling).

     Mr. Muminullah has 34 years’ experience in various geological fields and administrative, planning and implementation including 17 years’ experience as Director in the Bangladesh Government Organization. Mr. Muminullah was former Director of Bureau of Minerals Development. He retired from the Geological Survey of Bangladesh under Ministry of Power Energy and Mineral Resources in 2001. After his retirement he Joined as Director (Exploration) in 2007 and carried out the Detailed Exploration on Exploration Licensed Areas at Cox’s Bazar Beach Sand Coastal Belt. He has travelled so far more than 25 countries in his life and published more than 20 publications in different journals at home and Abroad.

       Mr. Muminullah completed his MSc in Geology from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He earned Post Graduate Diploma on Geological Survey using Aerial Photographs and other Remote Sensing Techniques from ITC, Enschede, The Netherlands. In Addition, he completed several certificate courses on difference subject in USA and Iran.

         Dr. Alam has more than 33 years of working and research experience in different fields of Geology and Geomorphology, Mineral resources exploration, mapping and also engaged in earthquake geology, geoarchaeology, geological remote sensing research. He served in the Geological survey of Bangladesh (GSB) during 1981-2015 and retired from GSB as Director General in 2015. He has 8 years of teaching experience in Remote Sensing & GIS in a public university as part time teacher. He completed his MSc in Geology and Mining from University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh. He also earned MSc in Geological Survey from ITC, Enschede, The Netherlands. Dr. Alam published more
than 20 publications in different journals at home and Abroad. He attended several training programs in home and abroad. He is the member of editorial board of different local and foreign journals. He travelled many countries in his career.

A book titled “Neotectonic Signatures from the Northern Bengal Basin in Bangladesh” published from Lambert Academic Publishing, Germany in 2017. He is the sole author of this book.

      Khairul has over 32 years of working and research experiences as geologist in different fields of geology that covers;-Geological Mapping: Completed Quaternary Geological Mapping of of Bangladesh and supervised Coastal Geological Mapping of covering the entire coastal belt of Bangladesh.
-Mineral Exploration: (i) Worked as well-site geologist in many exploratory drilling projects of the Geological Survey of Bangladesh. (ii) Worked as Chief of the Mineral Sand Investigation Team prepared for Jamuna River. (iii) Investigate the Peat Basin of Chatalbil, Hakaluki Haor, Baralekha Upazila, Moulvibazar District. In this connection mapped the Peat basin area, estimated the reserves and evaluated quality of the Peat.
-Arsenic Investigation in Groundwater: Conducted a number of geoscientific investigations in collaboration with the US Geological Survey Expert Group and with a German Expert to find out the level and causes of As Contamination in the Groundwater of Bangladesh.
-Neotectonic Study: (i) Carried out Geological Investigation on Earthquake of 2010 in Bangladesh. (ii) Identified the Western Boundary Fault of Madhupur Tract, Sahajibazar Fault, Titas Fault and Mainamti Fault. Published Research Papers on the geomorphological changes due to tectonic response of these faults. (iii) Worked as a Resource Person in a Training Programme under Active Fault Mapping Programme of the Geological Survey of Bangladesh (GSB)-Comprehensive Disaster Management Plan (CDMP), Bangladesh.
-Environmental Study: (i) St. Martin’s Island and Its Environmental Issues, Cox’s Bazar District and (ii) Environmental Study of the East Sundarbans Area, Bagerhat and Khulna districts, Bangladesh.
Project Implementation: (i) Worked as Project Director (PD) in the Project ‘Integrated Geological Mapping of the Chalanbil Area to Unveil the Quaternary Records and Climatic Changes’. (ii) Directly supervised the geoscientific works of the Project ‘Geological Exploration for Mineral Resources and Identification of Hazard-prone Areas in Coastal Region of Bangladesh’.
He Worked as Examiner of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Courses, and PhD Thesis of Dhaka, Rajshahi and Jahangirnagar Universities, Bangladesh.

Baharul has more than 13 years professional experience working in the Geoscience Industries. He Started his career as Geologist with a foreign company in 2007, and was actively involved in exploration and mining of mineral sands for more than 6 years and then shifted his career to International oil and gas industry. He worked for oil and gas exploration service company named DHI Services (Presently Excellence Logging), a Singapore based American Mudlogging Company, as Formation Evaluation Geologist. He worked in the south China Sea to explore oil and gas. Baharul served DHI till December 2016 and joined Everlast Minerals Ltd. in early 2017 as General Manager Senior Geologist of the company.

Baharul also has extensive work experience in Australia (Chillagoe, Queensland) for the exploration of Gold and Base metals. Working in Madagascar as Exploration Geologist was another overseas working experience in his career.

During his career, he traveled to Australia, Madagascar, Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar and Indonesia in many occasions.

Baharul was the Founder President of American Association of Petroleum Geologist, Student Chapter of University of Dhaka. He joined many conferences in and outside the country including Perth, Australia in 2006. He wrote many articles on mineral sands in the local journal.

Baharul has completed his graduation in Geology and post-graduation in Geology (major in Hydrogeology Environment) from University of Dhaka. He has also earned MBA in Finance from Independent University of Bangladesh.
